 Fable II is not overtracked it is almost dead on the money.  .9 times there total is 803k. 13k off max.

Fable 2 appears to be dead on, and here's why, Source wrote:

I assume the .9 is to track Canadian sales.

Fable 2's 2 week American/Canadian total for VGChartz is: 893,167

x.9 = 803,850

VGChartz = 804k

Actual = 790K

Well within the 10 percent margin for error.

 

 

LBP, on the other hand

348k according to VGChartz in US/Canada.

*.9 = 313,200

VGChartz = 313k

Actual = 215k

Looks like it was overtracked by about 30 percent.

 

That is, if I'm understanding this correctly. :P

Those are the only 2 games I care about on that list.

Also, LBP is closer to 150k overtracked than it is to 100, if I'm wrong in my previous post, that is.

LBPs advertising costs were large, no one can deny that. It was heavily marketed in all regions for launch and bundled with gifts and the PS3 in major retailers .

 I don't think we should jump so fast to conclusions with LBP's sales. We have no clue how NPD is tracking them right now so we should wait for Next months or an official shipment statement.

The .9 really only matters on games selling gangbusters like fable 2 did, so it's fine upon further inspection, but lots of games are overtracked by a good bit.  I'll do the numbers on all the games and re-post in a few.
