Silver/Gold is my #1 because that was the first pokemon game that i owned, i borrowed my cousin's Blue alot but i never had my very own. When i first got Silver i was addicted to the game. I would play it at school, on the bus, and every second i could. I also like Johto more than Kanto.

3. Diamond/Pearl

Gold/Silver was just made of win all around. They were just horus upon hours of relentless enjoyment. Red/Blue because they got me into the series - They had their flaws, but they were still great. Diamond/Pearl are truly worthy successors to the Pokémon series(Which I thought Ruby/Sapphire were not), but they just didn't quite make it there, I don't think.

Red/Blue - that's where it all started.
Gold/Silver and Diamond/Pearl are awesome too.

XD Gale of Darkness - That game was so much fun.
Stadium - Just plain awesome.

yellow is one of my favorites because i liked how it followed the way the tv show was.

Actually, Yellow is loosely based on the manga.  The anime is also based on the manga.
