@TruckOSauras, what happens is Blizzard bans your cdkey for a month and your account is permanently deleted, all the items and characters on there are gone, all cd keys linked to your account are also deleted. So say you use D2Loader and your friend asks you to move some items for him, you logon to his account boot up D2Loader so you can transfer the items by yourself. Now because your friend loaded D2Loader your account is deleted as well.

 

That program isn't acknowledged as being ok within the EULA....They played with fire, they got burned, big deal......

That's exactly like all those folks with modded 360 complaining they were only using it to play backup of games they bought ( yeah, right...).

 

I played D2 extensively too.

Every transfert I did were done the hard way. Creating a game, waiting it becomes a perma game, dropping the items, switching characters and then logging the other character to pick up the items.......

^You do know that by doing so you've also broken the EULA? (not sure if it's in the EULA, but it's not legal according to Blizzard) Blizzard has mentioned that muling is not legal and neither is transferring. If you've played extensively you must've lost a lot of stuff in transfers due to realm down problems. My clan has lost around 15-20 high runes due to bad transfers that weren't our fault. I can see the appeal for a program such as D2Loader and my big gripe is that the D2 community isn't big, and now Blizzard is going to cut off even more players. I love this game and I love it because there's people to play with. I'm sure you can understand that I feel like I'm watching a world crumble slowly.

I've said this many times. They haven't done any bullshit practices yet up until now with the bans, and anythign that's to come hasn't happened yet. You never know how things will turn out. So far their track record has still been impeccable.

You can't run 2 WoW.exe because it throws you a DirectX error. Or at least that's what it has been doing on the 3 computers I tried to do it on.

No, it's possible. Sometimes I get an error myself, but usually I can manage. Most people I know have had no problems at all.

I've got plenty of RL friends that play, so we know each other's act. info... multiple WoW instances really comes in handy.

This is what really makes me sad.

Look at amount of users playing and amount of games. Ridiculous, D2 is ruined.

In your screenshot the number of players playing other games was divided by 10 too, what comes ? Different time of the day ?

Look at the time stamp, same time. and HOLY SH*T. There's almost less than 100k players playing on all o bnet at 7pm USeast.

The time is the time he last logged on, not the time he took the screenshot and it doesn't make sense by the way.

 

November the 12th and November the 10th can't both be a wednesday or we are speaking different years..............

@Ail the screenshot isn't mine it's someone from jsp showing the difference of users. The other side says there are 16 users playing 5 games of D2 at the same time of the day right after the massive ban wave.

Edit: actually that screen probably is probably fake ignore it.

that screenshot is doctored or is from different years...

 

Wednesday november the 12th, Wednesday november the 10th......... Something doesn't compute...

The last time November the 10th was a Wednesday was in 2004, the guy is comparing 2004 and 2008.....
