I had to reduce the price in my CE 3 times and wait until now to finally sell it on amazon.  Had it on there since a couple days after it released.  Sold for only $63 shipped in like-new condition.  That's 17 dollars off for the buyer...

This game is obviously still selling like crap.

Solid debut. Well, let's compare it to Resident Evil 4 (GC version). RE4 sold over 230K while R2 sold over 300K. pretty damn good. Probably Insomniac's fastest selling game...at least to my knowledge.

Yup.  The GC version sold like crap.  Everyone in the industry knows that.  That's why they released it on the ps2.

 that's because the folks at Capcom are Boneheads, RE is synonimous with PlayStation.  so it was obvious they were going to port it to the PS2 just like Code: Veronica.

Exactly, they'll pick up a fair amount of sales heading into the holiday season as well.

Bit of some hypocritical excuse making going on here. Firstly a new IP is ok to sell 300k as it is new (LBP) but a sequel is allowed to sell 300k because it doesnt have a 20m install base?!
Sorry but i dont buy it. If it was on the Wii or even the 360 most of you would change your view i no doubt. Resistance 2 sold "average". It was outsold by Gears 2 by 66-1. To me that just makes it your run of the mill gun game in the world of gun game sales. Nothing great, nothing poor.

Worse thing is that its neither good nor bad which makes it "Average" Kinda similar to the scores the game is getting........ Very fitting.
