I personally don't take anything IGN says seriously, or any other review sites for that matter. These guys get paid to make these reviews. How long did they even play the game? Furthermore why do people let these sites dictate what games they should get? I know people are curious, but why not just rent the game or something? Anyway, just rent the game at least, decide for yourselves.

They play only 2 days ago, they play online only yesterday. That sets it...

anyway, while Bozon posting this, the sales charts comes up the Wii already have 295,000 units sold in this week alone, guess what that means. More userbase and more playing the Wii. IGN just should give up right now. Most Wii owners dont give s**t about their reviews anymore, its already proven with Star Wars FU almost 700,000 already and still selling even with all of the reviews. Wii owners crave for FPS  they'll buy this anyway... Its all over, even how much they bash the Wii when the Wii is in its magic number 40 million  nothing can stop it now, the userbase is TOO HUGE to be ignored, only my prediction of 3rd parties forced to develop games on the Wii becoming true.

Nobody is saying the Wii isnt the best selling console right now.But its games are limited and gimped compared to the other consoles and cost nearly as much.Or are you suggesting that IGN and the other mags should start lying in their reviews not to offend Wii users with the truth ?

Its also running at 30 FPS (Perhaps even with slow downs) compared to 60 FPS on the PS360 which is quite a difference really.

Tease.

Have you seen the IGN videos so far? its not gimped to me, if its not better than other versions graphically because Wii have limitations than other HD systems. And if you think about onlines and modes do you know that Activision can add the players online if they want to if there are enough players to support it? Its not that they dont want to add players online its that Activision is afraid that there are no one buy this game to play it online like you all did now...

As for the modes, you have a point there but team based battles like seek and destroy and CTF arent the reason why gamers go online anyway. Though I dunno why theres no zombie mode.

An eight is a good score, and a lot better than the 6.7 Tales 2 got. I think I now know which one I'll buy, along with Animal Crossing. I was still expecting a better score =l

Maybe I'll like it more since I've never played a CoD game XD

Pardon my french: Wat the fuck?

That looks better than CoD PS360?

Are you nuts?

Call of Duty 3, honey.

Oh.

that BS game?  Yeah, probably does.

It's okay, DMeisterJ. Reading is hard...

On topic, I guess the question for me is, are the folks on this site planning on switching over from MoH, or are they sticking to their guns? I'll finally be free to start playing games again in two weeks, but there's no point if I don't know anyone who's playing...

Personally I'll stick with MOH2 for what little MP FPS on the wii I do, until The Conduit anyways.

@DJ

That was a troll comment if there ever was one, this is discussing the Wii version not the PS360.

On topic: Beating MoH:H2 is going to be tough, those controls were really tight where aiming is concerned, however, if they even do a fraction better than they did with controls on CoD:3 then the game is still going to be decent and worth playing.

no a troll comment WOULD BE the wii is a piece of crap because the HD versions got 9.2's and the wii got an 8. Since this thread is about how it got a disappointing rating its not really trolling.

OT: That is a disappointing rating, but not bad. The wii needs FPS games

Lol the HD version got a 9.5 in sound while the Wii version got an 8.5

IGN Wii is hating, there's no way sound is that different. Even sound gets scored the same on multiplat music games. I'm starting to hate the anti Wii consensus that is spread all over the gaming media. Just FUCKING review a game without bias in mind, stupid cunts.

This is not true. Some Wii games like GH:WT ranked higher on the Wii.

IMO, their reviewers just have different preferences, so review scores will be dependent more on who the reviewer is and not the publication. In fact, I think this is true with most publications. This is why I don't take review scores too seriously.

You honestly think they capped it at 8 players because they weren't sure they would sell enough to fill up a larger game?  How many games have had their max players increased after the launch?  Also plenty of people like team based modes.  SOCOM was essentially that, as well as many other games.  And back to the player cap, I can hop on SOCOM II, and despite the fact only several hundred still play, I can easily find a full (or a spot or two open) 16 player match.

YES... this is Wii we're discussing after all...

about the team based modes, this is call of duty we're discussing about here... If you even played Counter Strike and other similar games to it no one cares who have the bomb, strategy or which team lose or which team wins. The more important is how many kills you got before you died, what more with call of duty.
