but either way, a 7.4 isnt a good rating. i thought this game would be much better than that...

Based on the two demo's i played, i would i scored the PS3 version atleast 2 points lower.

Sure, but Unreal Tournament 3, Pure, and Blacksite: Area 51 did bomb. For every game that beats the odds like Assassin's Creed, you have three more games fell. 

I'm not saying it's technically impossible for this game to do well. As you've noted, it's possible. I'd pin it as "very unlikely," however.

This was supposed to be the first game that made me want a 360/PS3, but it looks like it didn't expand on its great concept. Although I'm still gonna like this game because it actually tries to innovate and be different from other games.
