I would stamp Nintendo logo into a PS3, make it white and give it motion controls and double ram and reading speed. Voila Wii 2

Uhm:

- MEGA deals with all developers to bring all games exclusive to my console
- Unlimited backwards compatibility with every console game ever made. (Yes also slots for cartridges ;) )
- Keyboard/mouse, Wii Mote, 360/DualShock/Sixaxis etc. controller support
- Of course the best processor and graphic chip available
- 10 TB HDD and a drive, which can handle Quad-layer Blu-ray discs

this console would compete win the APPLE PIPPEN , for the number one spot of less sold unit ever, the record now is 42,000 LTD WW, fallowed by the cd-i that was US$700 in 1991.

As said before the ps3 with 1gb of ram and a new nv card would be the perfect console and of course the XBL online support because sony if sucking hard there right now( socom confrontaion and LBP online suck). But before releasing such console i'll ask borland and sun microsystems to create the SDK , borland makes nice dev eviroments(just the design for the rad, not compiler) and sun has java with amazing libreries, am not saying they should put java in the SDK just creat libs that are just a usefull and simple to use. All that because i think after price, the game daleys are killing the ps3 since its release.

It doesn't need to sell much. I forgot to mention, that I'll only produce one unit, which I keep to myself :P

Have a nice time playing Indie games then MUHAHAHA !!!!!

Simple steps for success. Make it as powerful as possible while sticking under $400 MSRP. If you don't think you can launch it at that price, you need to scale back the specs. Also, make sure that you can line up as many 3rd party comapanies as possible, getting them to sign contracts if need be. No matter how great the system is, it can't succeed without numerous games, many of which need to be excellent games.

I'll come up with something better eventually...

Net Yaroze (ps1) offered something similar and it wasn't half bad, there were some classics on that console. This time, we'll just make it more wide open and offer better distribution.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

i might sound stupid for this, but..

i'd make a system with cheap-tastic n64-gc hardware, with a decent sized hardrive, and all the games would be bought and downloaded of the internet. the system would be about 50 bucks and the games would be 5-20(depending on size, quality, ect)

come try out the computer game i've been working on for my high school senior project, titled sling ball. http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=47568

150vg$ bet(with haggy) mk wii 2009 worldwide sales > any 360/ps3 game released in 2009.

current mk wii worldwide sales (jan 9th): 553k

^It wouldn't be my first system of choice but could be a nice system to have to complement the main one. It would be nice if it had some great fun downloadable games. Also, while N64 graphics pale in comparison to what is out there today, some games could look great if they utilize good artwork and style.
