Im REALLY REALLY looking foward to Alan Wake and Mass Effect 2, and MS still probaly has a bunch of games up there sleeves, but im so hyped for those 2. 09 W00000T

Sony has yet to come up with a game as big as Gears 1/2 or Halo 3 since the PS3 launched. I doubt Killzone 2 will be as big as you think it is.

By the way, like what CAL4M1TY said, they've generally been holding off on their announcements until they need them. One reason many Sony fans think they're in the best position (in terms of future game library) is because nearly all their future titles are already announced. MS and Nintendo have been keeping their future titles a secret.

 

Hey watch out though we have MGS4 pretty much on the verge of outselling Gears 1 with -5 mill userbase. Be careful now.

Gears has sold 5.3 million units, MGS4 has sold 3.4 million units. How is that on the verge of anything?

 

Vg chartz is undertracking MGS4 by a mill and overtracking gears by like 500k this from Konami and Epics mouths.

Sounds bogus to me. I'm fairly sure you're referring to the SHIPPED figures of MGS4, and the magazine snippets claiming that Gears has "almost 5m sold!" or whatever.

I'd assume if you had a valid, non-vague link with any sort of proof, you would've posted it already.

Until then, I'll chalk it up as a Sony fan wish/hope claim, which is what this entire thread amounts to actually.

 

Here's a tip. You should stop making anti-360 thread, when you are obviously in the tank for the PS3. At least until you've built up a little rep for yourself around here.

 

Obama 08, PS3 09 deal with it. And who you callin' a fanboy fanboy?

Microsoft recently mentioned how they have a lot to yet show. Obviously there is not enough games to satisfy a whole years worth of gaming yet so there is more to be shown. As of now we have as follows:

-Alan Wake
-Star Ocean 4
-Halo 3: Recon
-Ninja Blade
-Ninety Nine Nights 2
-Halo Wars
-Splinter Cell: Conviction


Those are the known big ones. There are some smaller ones such as All Points Bulletin and things a long those lines which could be big sleepers. I also expect us to hear something about Mass Effect 2 or things a long those lines. But lets not get too far ahead of ourselves ;)

oh wait no... that was the "What's the big 360 game for 2008?"threads that were created last year by a few sad little PS3 fanboys... my bad

Maybe 2009 will be the year of Jade Empire 2 or the next KoToR??

Maybe Bungie's other games will have Fall 09 launches?

Maybe Lionhead's secret projects will be revealed?

Who knows, but I'm sure E3 2009 will bring more news (and exclusives) for the 360

Desperate thread?


Microsoft already CONFIRMED surprises for '09 that know one knows about and stated they have alot yet to show, and they have Star Ocean 4, Mass Effect 2, Halo: Recon, Halo Wars, Alan Wake, N3, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if Lost Odyssey 2 is announced.

To OP: After reading some of your idiotic posts, the thing you have to realize is that this isn't Sony. MS doesn't throw out all it's cards at once as soon as possible (and deal with the consequences later).

Guaranteed surprises in '09 after an already decent line-up confirmed.

Conviciton fell off the chart right after Assassins Creed... I don't think any official anouncement has been made about its release
