I get GT series but comparing R2 with FF8 is not fair, Resistance series have continuity, Final Fantasy main series don't have it, FF7 and 8 are completely different stories, It would be better to compare that with a series with continuity...

Come on leo-j, you need to calm down, like darth said.. it's a new IP, and it had a great first week, you also need to remember that this game is mainly about legs, not first week sales.

@ Leo, I think R2 will almost certainly sell better that LBP first week in NA, but I don't know about others.

Id also like to add I plan to buy 6+ games this Q4 and not one of them is Gears of War 2.

Not this week, i think, in europe. Japan, yes. It sold nicely, we'll see if's going to have legs.

LBP is one of the free games you can get in Australia when you buy a PS3, they are even advertising LBP on the tv as "free when you buy a PS3"

As for R2 selling 1 million first week, sorry I can't see it. It will be around 600k.
