To everyone with the same opinion. Stop being fanboys and stop assuming what I'm trying to say and just take it for what it is. No point trying to make someone who isn't a fanboy a fanboy for the sake of things. It's quiet irritating actually.
Props to those who are intellectual enough to read, understand and voice their share their views on this gen and others like what the discussions in the thread are meant to about instead of worthless "he is a fanboy" approach.

Funny, I feel as if the Wii is the strongest platform since it has genuinely new experiences while the PS3 and 360 try (and fail) to emulate the PC more and more.

I already explained. You pigeonhole the games on Wii as "novelty." You pigeonhole the games on 360 as "copycat." You love a long list of games on PS3. I don't care if you're a "fanboy," but you obviously prefer PS3's games. Your post says as much itself.
I also gave my opinion on the current console generation. Its freakin' amazing. Core games are on their game more than anytime since 2001-2002, handhelds are at an all-time high point, and Wii is a game-changer like we haven't seen since NES, which has probably the best lineup of any console this early in it's life. Do you have a problem with that?
In terms of business strategy, the main thing you bash PS3 for, it is obvious that Wii had a better strategy than the other consoles.
What is this topic about: The games themselves being disappointing, or good games having disappointing sales? You switch sometime between your evaluations of 360 and PS3.

Mortal Kombat 2 is a massive win for PSN...so is street fighter alpha despite being PS1 version which is vastly inferior to the saturn version, not to mention arcade. You forgot castlevania SOTN as well...
However that is like selling 3 chocolate bars from your pocket and calling yourself a candy store... How about new titles and not jsut re-releases? PS1 games are compatible with PS3...why sell them on PSN?
