Recovering Mac zealot, now using Linux on most machines (I've still got one Mac which I'll replace when it dies out, but I don't expect that to be soon).

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

Why even have the poll? There's tons of website software that can give you an entire breakdown of what OS people use, browser, etc.

Vista.

Got a new laptop this year, figured I might as well give it a try, and it hasn't been bad enough to warrant changing back to XP. Went from a 512mb RAM XP machine to a 3GB RAM Vista one anyway, so it's actually quite a bit faster. =P
