Forums - Nintendo - worst nintendo console/ handheld you have owned

That's pretty tough, but I'll go with Gameboy pocket.

I had a gameboy fat and a gameboy colour, I didn't find the portability that useful, and it basically did the same thing as the gameboy fat but the gameboy colour (thought slightly bigger) had a colour screen.

My gameboy pocket was blue though, which was a pretty slick colour.

The N64.

bare in mind I only owned N64, GC and Wii though, so I don't have a lot of choice.

From a technicial stand-point the GB. SOO MUCH GREEN.

Probably the Wii otherwise but that's so far.

Pixel Art can be fun.

You guys have to consider each unit based on the timeframe in which it existed. The GameBoy was revolutionary... for its time. You can't blame it for its shortcomings at its place in time. If it were to release now, then yes, it'd be lousy.

And Virtual Boy had terrible reception, but isn't too bad a system. I enjoy it tremendously, and I'm glad I bought mine off of some guy here. I'm just disappointed it was received as poorly as it was. At least I own almost every title released for it. =D

I think the GameBoy Colour was my least favourite. Weak support, terrible linking concept (infrared? wtf?), short lifespan. Waste of money.

Eff you.  Mario Tennis alone was worth it.

GBA, because of its short lifespan

it's though question but i would say n64 - aside from enormous amount of legendary nintendo games we didn't receive anything spectacular from 3rd parties........except for superman 64:/

gc was great console if we are talking about games from both 1st and 3rd party(definitely better than n64 here).

Game Boy Micro... it just.. sucked.

I have abosolutly loved every Nintendo console but the Wii. Wii and Gamecbue were letdowns, but its worse with the Wii, because the graphical leap is smaller than N64-GC. and with all its success, I was hoping it would have more games I wanted than Gamecube. It somehow has fewer. I also really don't like the controller; 90% of the time its impractical and gimmicky. Pikmin 3 is going to be much better with the Wii remote, so is mario tennis... but it feels like most games would have been better with traditional controls. IMO Wii Zelda and Metroid is better, but Smash and Mario and worse, and Mario Kart is MUCH worse on Wii... I played it may be 5 hours, really I didn't like it. Sonic Adventure 2 battle was also 10 times better than the bordeline unplayable mess that is Sonic and The Secret Rings. Super Paper mario is good, but it was a Gamecube Port... I just hope they port over the Kirby game as well.

Ugh, honestly, out of all the Nintendo consoles I own, I play my NES the least. However, I did buy it many years after it came out and, well, I dunno.

Mine goes:

N64 > GC > SNES > Wii > NES
