Please no Spoilers as I'm still playing through it, but I just wanted to see if anyone else feels this game is awesome and deserves to win some awards come the end of this year.... The story, gameplay and graphics are all top notch and I hope it gets some recognition

Finally something we both agree on.......... Dead Space should at least get nominated 4 GOTY instead of all the usuals. The J man thinks dead space is the bioshock of this year (without the recognition)

agreed, Dead space has given us gamers a treat this year, a great blend of story telling and action, in an awesome setting... I am savoring every minute i play of it, no rush here.

I finished it (PS3 version). It really rocked. This game hardly had any hype. I only got it because I like horror themed games.

Graphics are beeeaaautiful.
Sound is awesome.
and the gameplay is interesting. I have seen a few other nasties say the gameplay is repetitive, but sheesh what do you expect?

I gave it the much sought after _mevildan 10/10 Game of the Month award.

Yea there wasn't much hype at all for dead space but I'm glad that it pulled off some good sales so far and strong word of mouth will no doubt help its legs keep going, my hats off to EA this year for putting out some good games.

i ignored gears just to play it and get 1000 achievement on it and now iam at the second run in it .. really really awesome game.
