Perhaps it's because the game is essentially MS1 (which a lot of people didn't like... it lacked something (anecdotal)) with added moss.

maybe they want Motorstorm 2 to TRULY be the LEAP ahead...in grfx n so on.

lets be realistic MS PR grfx aren't that great..

It's a shame. The number of other titles involved surely pushed this back a bit on many lists, but still, overall, the XBoX PUMMELED the PS3 in software this week...

and Forza 2 is essentially Forza 1 with a different paint-job. See it can go both ways.

Anyways MotorStorm is now apart of the greatest hits which probably cut into sales as people probably think there isnt much difference between the two games and picked up the cheaper one.

As for bundles isnt MSPR bundled in the EU? if so it has a strong chance of sales.

For retail this is a major issue. No retailer now a days seems to actually use sales people to sell a game/product so there is no customer interaction between customer and retailer employee minus say "can you get this game out of the case?"

A victim of a Fallout 3 and LBP mania I guess. It will have good legs...

Or since reviews haven't put it as exceptional people might be thinking that it is not better then Motorstorm enough to warrant a purchase.

I'm waiting for more great user created levels before I buy. Maybe others are too. If the launch wasn't botched, I'd have bought it on day 1. That extra week gave me time to reconsider my purchase.

It should top 1million, but with many PS3's offline, and the type of game Little Big Planet is, the game was never going to set the world on fire.

If that's the case, maybe they really should have released it as an expansion pack (although from what I've heard MS has already had some).

If nothing else, they can use it in a new bundle, or hope it has some legs after a price reduction.

I wouldn't worry about this game's sales number. if the worst comes to be, Sony will just bundle it in with a console and it will sell a million or two.

This is the power of being a first party game.

Also, review-vice, there's nothing wrong with the game. Just didn't sell due to people buying better games.
