I dont think it can, to be in the actual top 10 it need more sales than all the others GT except 3, in the consoles list it can, but not overall.

 Imagine: Babiez is the only shovelware I can see.

I don't know if GT5 will make it. Well, it depends on what you mean.

Top 10 exclusives - probably yes. The list currently ends at 5.73M.

Top 10 consoles - I doubt it. Currently ends at 7.21M, and should be at at least 8M by the end of the year.

Top 10 evertyhing - not a change.

Other than that, I expect this list to look very different by the end of the year. For consoles only, I expect Kart and Fit to end up in 3rd and 4th place.

I also expect SMG and SSBB to pass Halo 3 and end shortly behind GHIII.

This may seem a bit fanboyish (everything I say is pro Wii), but it is simply how I expect it to go, looking at past trends. 

Almsot 30mil in NA would be my guess.

i'd say gt5 has no chance of getting into the top 10 overall.

and considering by next year even if guitar hero 3 is still number 10 for consoles only that means #10 will be over 9 million and gt5 won't sell that much so i say no chance for consoles only top 10.

exclusives only i do think it will get in the top 10. cuz you've got wiifit, mkwii, ssbb, smg, halo 3, the new animal crossing, gtaIV(360), mario&sonic, gt5. thats probably what will be the 9 top exclusives that are out with AC and gt5. and all of them will sell over 6.5 million. probably nothing else will get up there until new mario, new zelda, some other big nintendo game, gears of war 2, or maybe something like god of war 3.

Funny numbers, you expect smg and ssbb to sell almost 2 million and the same time you are expecting Halo 3 to sell.. uh, negative numbers? Yes, that sounds a bit fanboyish to me. :D
