I don't know if GT5 will make it. Well, it depends on what you mean.

Top 10 exclusives - probably yes. The list currently ends at 5.73M.

Top 10 consoles - I doubt it. Currently ends at 7.21M, and should be at at least 8M by the end of the year.

Top 10 evertyhing - not a change.

 

 

Other than that, I expect this list to look very different by the end of the year. For consoles only, I expect Kart and Fit to end up in 3rd and 4th place.

I also expect SMG and SSBB to pass Halo 3 and end shortly behind GHIII.

So my expected top 10 for consoles

1. Wii Sports Wii 31.29m

2. Wii Play Wii 15.92m

3. Wii Fit Wii 13m

4. Mario Kart Wii Wii 12m (but ahead of GTA IV)

5. Grand Theft Auto IV 12m
  X360 6.12m
  PS3 4.76m

6. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 10.5m
  X360 6.55m
  PS3 3.68m

7. Halo 3 - 8.8M

8. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock 8.7m

9. Super Mario Galaxy Wii 8.4M

10. Super Smash Bros. Brawl Wii 8.3m

 

So I also expect Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii to kick out GTA IV and CoD 4, leaving the overall top 10 as Nintendo published games only.

 

This may seem a bit fanboyish (everything I say is pro Wii), but it is simply how I expect it to go, looking at past trends.
