This sucks because I have a PS3. The demo should also be available on the PSN.

WOW this game is AWESOME. Nothing like setting off an alarm and mowing down dozens of zombies. WWOWOWOWOW. I'm calling it right now, GOTY.

Initial impressions:

Too awesome for words, but two problems

1) I'm gonna want a new graphics card, not that it looks bad on my settings, it's actually pretty bitchin...the flashlight effects, the darkness, the various splatters zombies make when you shoot them to bits...but why not make it look even better?

2) Matchmaking. Great idea, but in these first few hours of the demo, it's nearly impossible finding a good ping match, since you can't straight out pick a server.

I'm sure Valve is listening, fixing, etc, and there always seems to be big problems in betas or demos from Valve in the first few hours. By tomorrow or Saturday, I imagine the problems will be gone.

But from what I've played online it's great, and I had time to play through both demo levels alone as well...it is AWESOME! I've been reading about this game and watching vids for nearly 2 years...finally running in the game myself is a whole new experience...and it's totally worth the wait.

I haven't had a chance to play yet, I still have to update my Steam at work which is painful, but a friend played this morning and he apparently played some real jerks.

In the room with all the molotov cocktails they took them all and then immediately threw them all catching the room on fire so they had to sit there and wait for five minutes. As an added bonus to being total douches, they were also complete idiots and used all their healthpacks since they used one every time their health dropped below 90.

God I can't wait to give this game a go.

Alright, I played a quick single player game over lunch and it was intense!

I saw the witch and thought she would be nothing so I walked up and put a shotgun in her face. A few seconds later I was on the ground nearly dead emptying my pistol clips into her and she wasn't going down.

Fuck this game rocks.

Focused fire from everybody will take her down kinda fast...but if you think you can take her down yourself, no way haha.

Fuck. Awesome.

Servers are going up and improving, and Valve is paying attention to any complaints about matchmaking, so no worries!
