Ok, that is one instance, can you find another?
In Metacritics case this happens with each and every A score. Being rated higher than it should.

yea u are right, gamerankings IMO does have a better system than metacritic, especially with the letter grades. Also, from wat I've seen, they dont have reviews from random sites like Variety hating on LBP and R2. It seems like they actually only take gaming sites into consideration.

Gamerankings seems to use the more reputable sites for their averages. If I wanted anymore than that i would go to N4G, they do not just pick and choose like Metacritic, they just add in every score released. I believe even N4G does the letter grading more professionally than Metacritic as well.
I do not know why everyone goes by Metacritic. What started that whole metacritic thing?

exactly,,,,metacritics chooses their sources inwhich they could easily manipulate the metascore,,,but in N4g as long as it's not from a blog(and it's from a website)it will be added to the score.so no manipulation what so ever in n4g.Gamerankings also is a better source than metacritics.
for example in fable 2 metascores, metacritics has added a 100/100 from a website called level which is a blog in Czech language.(only to push fable 2 over 90)with no link in the refrence.
