Many times it has been seen that hardware and software is first released in japan first (DSi). Is nintendo either just screwing the terrirory that is giving them the most profit (NA) or are they just test marketing their product in japan so it is acceptible for the NA audience.  

Frankly I blame you Jesus. You've been slacking off on miracles lately and getting Nintendo to start simultaneously releasing hardware and software should be within your skill level.

 The J man believes that even with his overwhelming power , he should not interfere with anything to do with nintendo because nintendo knows best.

And who are you to tell the J man he has been slacking off in the miracles. After all he is the one who made you a mod.

Apparently the J man is not all knowing. If I remember correctly, Nintendo made most(90%) of its quarterly profit from Japan.

I'm sorry.

But how many sales are their of wiis and nds compared to NA. Its not even funny on the difference between their NA  and Japan sales. So even though they make more profit there, their product is selling way more here.

 Its ok the J man is in a good mood so your lucky . lol

One: Because it's a Japanese company. It only makes sense to release locally first.
Two: The US doesn't actually generate the most profit for Nintendo, because the consoles are actually less expensive here than in most other places. This is actually the real reason behind region-locking: to allow Nintendo to keep prices high in Japan and Europe by making importing from the US impractical.
