EDIT: OP, It would have been better if you had said 'In My Opinion', but even then, we have had HUNDREDS of these threads, those of us who agree have agreed hundreds of times, those who don't have argued against it and compared LBP to Banjo hundreds of times.

Well, anyway, because it's only polite,

OT: I am not a religious person, but if you were asking 'what games do I want this christmas', I would say Resistance 2, LBP, Valkyria Chronicles and BioShock (all on PS3).

Next year, I am hyped for all of the second party productions (R&C, Jak, Uncharted, InFamous) as well as God of War III. I have no love for racing games, so although I am sure Gran Turismo will be the finest in its genre, I only see it as a system seller. My anticipation of Killzone 2 is slowly increasing as I am realising it won't suck after all and actually looks very good.

The problem is, the ps3's lineup whilst very good isn't really any better then the competitions. Its a pretty close battle really. Too close to call.

If I was to make a thread titled, "Now it's official, Gears of War 2 is the best shooter this Christmas!"

Then, in the thread, I never mentioned Resistance 2, I just touted gears and its meta-rating, and I said, "It's the only shooter this holiday with a passable metacritic rating."

That would be me, flaming Resistance 2, without actually saying the word "resistance 2."

You see, his comments are passive, and at first glance appear fine. However, they have a hidden purpose of not wanting direct confrontation, but instead to make the posters intentions be known without having to directly say them, and confront criticism. In this case, his assertions are "The PS3 has a better fall lineup than the 360 or the Wii in fall 08." He states it as an absolute.

Now, this thread, from just the title, is obvious passive-agressive flamebait. The OP does this all the time. In fact, the only reason this thread doesnt' say "The PS3 has a better lineup this holiday" is because he already made a thread like that before, and it was locked. Here's the link:
