Forums - Nintendo - New Cursed Mountain interview and screenshots (looking good...)

Interview with the developers at:

http://www.revogamers.net/articulos-345-Todas-las-claves-de-Cursed-Mountain-1.html

English version starts on page 4.

Looking pretty good, I gotta say. The Wii's starting to become a decent console for horror games. Good to hear!

Nice interview. From the way he was describing it, it sounds like it'll share some of the psychological horror aspects of Eternal Darkness, as well as the isolation and zombies popping out of nowhere aspect of other survival horror

I'm surprised by how little interest there is in this game. Are people skeptical, or are they just too focused on the stuff that's coming out sooner?

Both.

About the graphics of this game: It's not too hard to make something look decent if half of the screen is black.

Haven't you heard? Black is the new Black.

I saw the teaser trailer on IGN a while back, it was really cool.

Good interview, I'm really wanting this game.

Well, I'm not an expert, but no one's ever done a horror game set on a sunny beach...

Probably a number of things. Survival horror may just not be a good niche for the Wii. Who can say?

Regardless, this does, indeed, look pretty awesome.

Wow, the Wii has alot of really good (and decent selling) survival horror titles, certainly more than the GC (2 years in), PS3 or 360

Does it? I'm only familiar with Fatal Frame 4 and RE4... the latter of which isn't so much survival horror as it is let's kick some ass horror.

There are a few others, both out and coming out. Escape from Bug Island and Alone in the Dark (both suck, but both out), The Calling and this game, plus another one that I can't recall at the moment. Oh, and Sadness...

It's not a huge list, mind you, but then it's not the biggest genre around anymore either. A couple of entries in two and a half years ain't bad.
