Hello all, I am currently downloading the new firmware as you read this and was just wondering if anyone knows what exaclty is in it. I read somewhere it was HOME but then i realized, everyone would be going crazy about the news and there is no way i missed it, so anyone know?

ANY1 know whats in it?

It fixes some problems people encountered with the keyboard and the PS3, as well as improvement in the performence of some PS3 titles.

Yeah, pretty basic. You can find out what updates do on this website; it's pretty nice to have. Just click on the System Software Update button on the left side.

Bah. I get on to finish R2, and this pops up. Damn updates.

The big updates are all tenths (2.4, 2.5, 2.6 etc.). The little hundredth updates (like 2.52) are rarely anything more than bug fixes and minor tweaks.

Expect the next big new features in late December- early January when 2.6 is released.

They really should mention which titles they've improved. What's the point otherwise?
