Looking forward to seeing the updated PS3/360 gap in Squilliam's sig

The price cut happened on what 16th Sept? Almost 2 months ago. The numbers have been up and down across the board since then. The week after 7th nov will be interesting to see how Gears 2 and Resistance 2 did seeing as Res1 actually outsold Gears1 1st time round.

107k for 360 without Gears 2 even been released........... Looks to me like the gears fans are coming flocking back to the almighty 360......... I wonder how many PC orientated gamers may have decided to buy a 360 due to it looking unlikely that gears 2 is coming out on PC...... hhhmmmmm

Also Gears 1 is approaching 6 million but lots of people may have bought gears 1 2nd hand due to owning a 360 at a later date...... I see gears 2 hitting 7-8 million sales in the next 12 months

On a side note: PS2 PES is outselling PS3's version.

Gap after x-mas between the Hd consoles will be something between 6-7 million.

Edit: HOLY... This changes everything! The 360 upgraded by 300k and the PS3 by 100k, but look at the gap/weekly everything it looks like if these corrections are true the 360 is taking Christmas BIG TIME! :-o

To clear this up, the Wii60 got adjusted up. The wii by about half a million, I'm not sure about the 360.

Wii jumped 0.2%, 360 jumped 0.1% PS3 lost 0.3%

Wow, things have really been going Microsoft's way around here for a while now, sales, review, and news-wise.

First we had Banjo turn from guaranteed crap, to greatness with poor text.

Then we had Japan numbers upturn for the 360.

Then the price-cut was better than we expected.

Then Gears 2 and Fable 2 both get great reviews.

Then Fable 2 sells a million week 1.

Then the 360 version of Fallout 3 is the only one without problems.

Great news lately, seriously. Good job Microsoft.
