That's fair enough, although if I were the OP I'd add in PC exclusives because it is a valid gaming platform (probably the best one to invest in considering hardware prices right now)

What's to discuss? Your list is incorrect. Some games have no release year. Others are nothing more than a vague announcement made long ago with no public videos or screenshots to speak of. You've decided to unfairly make the PS3 look superior by only partially adding in a third target for comparison without showing the massive strength that third paticipant has over the other two...combined. This comment shows I clearly underestimated your bias towards the PS3, and can now see you're not looking to inform or help anybody except for the PS3 enthusiast.
@bouzane-It looks like the PC will not be getting it's fair shake in this thread afterall and neither will the 360.

@OP: You've made this thread. I claim that these games should be included. It is your job to exclude them through research. Alan Wake and Huxley would of course, not count, because they're on PC. The 360 is probably already ahead in games for 09, if we include PC releases, and those don't even include most of the "surprises" in store. Unless Sony has stopped telling us about games 3 years in advance, we've got most of their exclusives on that list. Because....

The problem there is FFXIII is listed for the PS3, because it is exclusive in Japan.
Now, WKS is also listed, yet it releases in japan this year, on December the 25th, if that date is still correct. WKS is getting counted as an exclusive for 2008 and 2009, and FFXIII is getting counted as an exclusive because it's exclusive in Japan?
So, are we, or are we not counting Japan? Is exclusivity in 1 territory enough to make a game "exclusive"? Also, if that terriroty isn't english speaking, is a game released there in 2008 also valid as a 2009 game? If Gears 2 is released in Japan in 2009, is it a 360 exclusive for 2009?
It's obvious that the list has been buffed to include as many PS3 games as possible.

First off who the hell is this OP? I've never seen him on the site before and he barely has 30 posts and starts with one of the most ambitious threads that could exist.
Secondly OP also seems biased and I think this thread is above him and he doesn't fulfill the requirements to create such a demanding thread. Not to mention we have no credibility of this guy, I would rather have two to three well informed and smart posters (that the VG community knows well) work together on making the list, each of them working on their own list.
In my opinion it would be best if things returned to normal, with each exclusive set list on each part of the forum like it was done for 2008. All lists made for each console were well done with pictures and small descriptions. Benga, Onyx, Nazna, and Makingmusic all deserve medals for their fantastic threads and hard work. This thread is a failure and the OP needs to lay back and let someone else do the work that he obviously can't do.
However, Onyx does bring up a good point, a 2009 exclusive list for could be HD Console owners to dwell on. I think should such a list be done, it would require three people. One representative of each console, and one neutral to discuss. I think to make things easier, just return to normal and let the browser him/herself look at each set of exclusives and base their decision. When I was on the fence about PS3 or 360 (beginning of summer) I simply opened each list and looked at the exclusives I wanted on each console.
