Is the XBOX NXE supposed to be like Playstation Home? Is it going to be better, Worse Etc. Etc. ?

Ive had a play about with Home Beta. I thought id really love, but the beta turned me off it a bit, hopefully they will make it better. I like the fact you can just chat to friends and then easily join friends in a game...im hoping they integrate it well enough that it would be benificial to use Home as your primary access to your multiplayer games. I think this comes out on the same week as NXE

NXE seems pretty good and im looking forward to the HDD install feature. It would save my 360 DVD drive from wear and tear from gaming and also save my ears from the jet engine noise that is coming from it.

19th Nov is my Birthday also NXE will be available that day too oh and The Last Remnant on the 20th and Left 4 Dead on the 21st.....Its gonna be a great birthday week for me :P

The ps3 home is probably the worst idea to come from sony computer entertainment since......ever. There just complicating how to play online games and its just pathetic that sony actually spent good money on this piece of garbage. Like why does the J man have to go find his friends when he can just click on their name to play games with them? NXE is just a facelift with hdd install and more resolutions for monitors thats it so you really cant compare a new look to a piece of crap.

i guess the game install is really the only thing i'm interested out of NXE and Home.

maybe they will both be implemented better than what i currently think it will be like (i haven't read much about them both), but i honestly don't have many friends on either system - i'm more of a solo player.

Well Happy Early Birthday!! So on that NXE game install, saving the Optical drive mean that eliminating some of the heat of the console also, Hence RROD, or just the dvd drive itself?

I think that both of these things are too different.

the 2 are not even comparable. nxe(new op system) is just a redesigned dash with a few tid bits chucked in, i personally cant wait to try out nxe. regarding home this is more of a social community online world, i predict it to be very popular, the avatars in nxe are just like miis on ur screen u cant do anything with them. they area bit like emoticons. the avatars in home are more customisable and u control ur char around rooms and lobbys, i personally like the take a foto with ur mobile and text it to ur home room and the foto wil then display in a frame in ur online pad. home > nxe

They're very different but I don't really care about Home. I only care about the XMB and NXE. Whatever does a better job of getting me to a game and playing is what I prefer. All that other crap is irrelevant in my eyes.

Meh its free, cant complain. More features the better i always say.
