Okay, my prediction of 1.5M was way off. You let me down Nintendo. You've let me down.

Not bad, similar to PSP-3000 sales, and worse than PSP Slim (PSP-2000) debut. Can't be arsed to find the figures, but I think PSP-3000 sold 150k and PSP Slim (PSP-2000) sold 270k in the same period.

Overall, handhelds are selling so much more than consoles, it's unreal.

So 170K of nearly 200k available on the 2 days of the launch.
Good start but it is the mid/long term what count really.

About what was expected, close to sold out (shipped nearly 200k). Nintendo said they'll ship another 100k for this week, so will be interesting to see how high the demand remains.

Wow, great sales for the first 2 days. 170K of 200K shipment. Considering that the DSi launched on a Saturday when pretty much everything else launches on Thursday in Japan (including the PSP 3000).

I guess Nintendos shipment estimates were a bit too high.

Apparently the DSi sold out at most places, at least that is my information. We will see how well it holds up.
