Do you ever revive your old threads?

and by revive i mean post pointless crap on it just so it comes up on the hot topics list or is bumped up on the forum list? i don't revive my own threads cause that would be pathetic (hahaha you suck Monkeyman40210) i ask my one friend to always do it.

so anyway...

Do you ever revive your old threads? and how do you do it?

Reviving (necrobumping) is a bannable offense here. 

You can revive an old thread *if* there's good reason to, but more often than not necrobumping will get you a warning or ban.

I don't revive an old thread unless something crazy or interesting happens and it pertains to the thread. Nothing sadder than somebody posting random stuff in an obvious attempt at internet attention. I honestly don't remember the creater of 98.3% of the threads I post in.

I'll occasionally bump my threads if someone has replied since I last posted and it's still showing up in my recent threads list. I refuse to bump if I'm the last poster in the thread unless it has some specific purpose to current events.

Anything from a few days to a week or so old you won't get in trouble for.  It's when you bump a thread that's more than a few months old is when we start getting pissy.

I figured as much, but I figured this was more about personal ethics on the subject, rather than only what will be approved or shut down by the forums. I'm just pointing out what I personally feel is acceptable and what simply lacks class.

Nah I never did that;..Only the ones who are a few days old.

I've never bumped my own other than the prediction league standings thread whenever I update the first post.

I have bumped others too. Montana locked one that I bumped specifically for super_etecoon , and twesterm called me a smart ass
