GOD OF WAR runs at 60fps

Um, HS was running at 30FPS? How are you determining this? It looks smooth and responsive for me. As far as the comment above on "guiding" her around. That's BS. Hit the right analog and dodge. It's almost instant movement.

No god of war runs at 30fps, go look at gamespot. My review for the demo/game

Controls-7/10 you cant jump.......the right stick is pretty much used for rolling they should switch it with the cam

graphics-10/10 the best graphics ive seen on my ps3 so far, I saw the trailer it was ok, but ingame is better

gameplay-10/10 I love it I think its better than god of war in the gameplay with good ass cutscenes

length-4/10 the demo was so short that I beat it in 3 minutes. This game is definatly ps3 only 1gb for 3 minutes..

If it were the real game then the length would surely be aroun a score of 7/10 so basicly its a AA title awsome, but the demo gets a 7.8.

Thanks for the review leo-j.  It seems a lot of people are kinda underwhelmed by the controls.  Sounds like a good game but not a great one.

Mate, just commenting on what OTHERS have said here in the forum.

Everyone expects PS3 games to LOOK gorgeous (they had better, or whats the point - right? stick with PS2?).

So its the gameplay that people are interested in - especially with a demo (we all see the game with movies online).

I wouldn't be posting this if everyone said that it played awesome.

Instead of "generally critisicing" my post - try commenting on what others have said, or on the demo itself.

If the game (in your opinion) has "Great gameplay" - prove it! Discuss/argue your point...

It does use the Sixaxis. Check the combo listings. You need it to initiate aerial combos and you can use it to control thrown objects.

I have played it more than 3 times( this was one of my most anticipated game this year) Im feeling its a rental for me. Uncharted and Ratchet for PS3 are going to be better( I love the Ratchet games and a fan of Naughty Dog)

I got to play it.

The Good:
The graphical display is fantastic.

The sound is great, the voice acting superb, the animations smooth.

The counterattacks and aerial moves are sweet.

The Production values are obviously high from the presentation of the game.


The Bad:
Controls. No Jump? How awkward ...

Right analog is a dodge button, should be free camera.

Auto block? Completely disorienting.

Framerate not nearly as smooth as God of War.

Demo was so short, they might as well call it a teaser demo.


As I understand, this is the same demo from GDC, so the game has certainly come a long way since then, I assume (and hope).

Conclusion:
It more so got me hoping for next gen God of War. Oh, the possibilities .....

This would have to tide me over until God of War, so I would probably purchase it, if I had a PS3.

How did u play it more play it HEAVENLY SWORD without having a PS3 dolladolla
