I saw a few at Best Buy but that was the same day they got more in stock.

On Sunday when I bought World Tour at Toys-r-Us they had a sign outside that said "We Have Wii in store, act fast!"

People are probably holding them now for the holidays.

The Wii is the one item for the holidays that is guaranteed to sell out completely.

I've never seen it sold out.. It never sold out here :p

Here in Spain all the stores have good amounts of Wiis ....no problem getting one.

i live in fort wayne indiana, i have only seen a few here and there but for teh most part two days after shipment they are gone

Artificial shortage is artificial. Well, I dunno, but I think they should be able to produce at a faster pasce than this, I mean, the sales can't be taking them by surprise any more.

The only place I have consistently seen Wiis is Costco. Up until last week, they were always bundles, not just individual systems.

I think many stores have them on Sunday/Monday, but they are gone pretty fast.

only a problem in Americas it seems. but from looking at sales ithe problem seems to be getting better

They have increased recently to 2.4m a month (the fastest rate of production for any home console), they can't just snap their fingers and have 10 more factories built.. it takes time every time they want to increase production

After 2006 Christmas I have seen Wiis every bigger shop where I have visited. PS3 is different story.
