well grafix on screen will look good on gears 2 because it goes 3rd person view, as it pans out more on screen in front of you.

its a bit like unreal tournament on ps3, when u issue action cam mod, the display on screen looks different because it goes into 3rd person view.

on that front it would be hard to compare, but gears 2 with its less ambitious scope, win out but that wont matter to gamers as both are excellent games.

what makes me pick R2 over gears 2, is R2 is far more grander in scope with amazing boss battles plus the plethora of multiplayer options, 8 player co-op on a seperate dedicated story, and up2 60 player lag free online matches = win

but for 360 owners gears 2 will be a perfect buy this xmas. if i had 360 only i would have gears 2 on my radar.

grafix for both are excellent although different, both have a few frame issues but non game breaking, but no game is perfect.

i still predict fanboy reviews will lower R2 down as much as they can go, even the most stringent xbox fan if he admitted to himself, regarding the 1up R2 review would admit, that they gave that game a low score in contrast to what they said about the game.

The bolded part isn't true. Watch IGNs video review. The talk about how grand the scope is for Gears 2, and how excellent, lag free, and awesome the co-op and online modes are in Gears 2, as well.

Particularly, though, the scope of Gears 2 is grand and huge, unlike Gears 1, which is a mis-assumption on your part, unless you don't believe the IGN review.

Yah your absolutely correct you popped in a time machine, and at the same time you monitored Cliffy B's horrible attempts to maximize and change the UT engine for worse on the 360. Stupid Epic why do they have to tweak a perfectly good engine to run even better on 360s.

Doesnt it mean:

9.5 out of 10 what they think the 360 can do graphics wise

vs.

9.0 out of 10 what they think the PS3 can do graphics wise?

This is all up to interpretation, so look at it the way you like the most.

It doesn't matter.  Skeeuk has a right to an opinion, so does IGN, and does you.  So since the PS3 and most anything that has to do with it isn't your preference, people should deal with it.  But you should also deal with the fact that there will always be people preferring something you don't like the PS3.  You called ForeverCloud3000 a PS3 fan as if it's a critcism.  If you said "fanboy," that would be understandable in context.  But with the mass majority of your posts in regards to the PS3 I've seen, you've come across as an antiPS3/SONY fanboy, and you know better than to critcise  ForeverCloud3000 when you've spewed virtually nothing but personal PS3/SONY hate.  You know better...

well gears 2 is grander than gears 1 for sure, but R2 8 player co-op on a seprate dedicated story, plus up2 60 players lag free is an amazing achievment, so in that case R2 is grander.

but gears 2 is by no means any lesser of a game, its just a different type of game to play, i will get gears after xmas

I was just letting him know, in case he based his opinion off an assumtion. Skeeuk can stand up for himself, trust me on that.

Sure, that is understandable, but you cannot claim "The bolded part isn't true" when it might be to him assumption or not based on his particular gaming preferences.
