^ How do you not know that song? Everybody friggin' knows that song.

I'll always remember when it was used in that cheesy Xena episode, lol.

Apparently not everyone knows that song all that well. Some are completely unaware of the more memorable lyrics from the song.

You're making this into a much more serious thing than it needs to be Treasure fan. Nobody is expecting this song to be known by every living person on Earth, but it's just funny how few either ignored it or didn't get the connection in this very topic. I'm pretty sure the song has become more well known ever since it was the highlighted moment of overrated buddy cop movie Rush Hour.

What is the song good for? Say it again y'all.

Naughty Dog are first party. They are owned by Sony.

Really? I thought they were second party...

What about Insomniac? Pretty sure they're second party.

EDIT: I see. Naughty Dog are first party, Insomniac and Sucker Punch are second party.

I think SOny should make Insomniac first party, just to be safe.

In a years time, the Wii will be the only console getting 3rd party exclusives

Because, all games could have slight graphical reductions and then play on the Wii. And there's no point making a game for PS3 but not 360 or vice versa. However, alot of Wii games would be shit if ported to a system with last gen controls

He was dumb to put some games that are owned by Sony and Xbox on that list but I think he is mainly talking about third parties. Think we all realized many third party games are going to be multi-platform from now on.

Also it seems if a third party is going to side on one console, that console company is going to back up that title in some way. (Like sony bundling MGS 4 or Xbox buying up JRPGs)

They practically are first party.

Really, Insomniac is in an excellent position.  They retain the freedom of a third party developer, while recieving the benefits of a first party developer (getting dev kits early, an almost unlimited budget, etc.).

Their relationship with Sony is extremely close.

eclusives are useful to make some people buy certain systems. If you want to play mgs 4 then youll et a ps3 if you want to be the master cheif and play halo 3 then youll get a 360 or if you want to be a princess saving plumber ten get the wii. See exclusives make people want to uy other systems

Exclusives are important imo, it creates walls between consoles.

For example i dont think ANY of us would wanna play a mario game on a PlayStation brand or Microsoft brand HELL even an iSomething.

Some games Belong were they belong.

As for 3rd party exclusives, (Not counting 2nd or 1st) is an other story altogether.
