I was watching the videos of this game, and i'm really interested in it, but i heard that Fallout3 is Oblivion with guns. So is it worth it my investment?

Fallout 3 is not Oblivion with guns. That is a generalization. I hear it is much more immersive. You might want to check out some reviews. Let me warn you up front, there is a large community of Bethesda haters on this forum, whom hated Oblivion, and want nothing else but to see them fail. You should decide for yourself, and don't let them force their opinions upon you.

I didn't like oblivion. I picked up fallout 3, and I love playing it.

I was really thinking picking it up, for ps3, but i heard there was a lot of glitches on ps3. So i was thinking to pick it up when i'm going to buy an xbox360. I've played oblivion, it was fun at first but get tired of it, it's just i'm not a fan of elf's and medievil times.

I have two friends playing it on PS3 atm and neither have encountered anything game ending glitch wise. In fact the only glitch we've seen was my friend get stuck in the terrain, which is kind of a classic Oblivion glitch if I remember correctly. Luckily the game autosaves alot so it was not an issue.

On the similarities to Oblivion, well a lot of the mechanics of the game end up similar, but the story and the atmosphere are far better than in Oblivion. So I guess if you absolutely hate Oblivion's gameplay then you may want to be wary, but if your quarrel with Oblivion was the storyline and atmosphere then go right ahead.
