Well, it should, with all the new releases, and the new SKU. The last few weeks have looked as if the people were holding back, waiting for the bundles( i could be wrong on that though).

No. The era of the system seller as we know it is over; the people who wanted LBP, by and large, did not wait for its release to buy the PS3. Just like they didn't wait for MGS4, GTA4, Halo 3, and all the other blockbuster titles. The market has simply changed; it doesn't work the same way it used to.

Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. No way in hell, LBP despite its popularity is not an established franchise and doesn't benefit from being developed by a known Japanese developer.

I doubt it. I can see the PS3 selling 15k next week, and falling below 10k again the week after.

At the rate it's been going it's not looking good at all. It's gonna be hard competing against the DSi. It may only just beat the 360.

After seeing the first day numbers for Little Big Planet I hope they don't even beat the 360.

It should look like this:

Wii - 27,000
360 - 11,550 (GTA boost)
PS3 - 7,800 (LBP + GTA + 80GB boost)

Japan obviously has no desire to purchase PS3's.

Sorry I can't see it happening.
