Nintendo should want this game to be a success. But they have completely screwed it by not advertising it, or bringing it to the states (the only territory it could actually be rather successful in). And now they are openly bashing it?

I don't care about this game, I'm much more interested n Fatal Frame V, which I'll buy the first day on retail. I just can't believe that the game currently has no western release date. It's a quality mature game, exclusive for Wii. Bring it here before Christmas, I will never buy Animal Crossing or WiiMusic.

Also, I think many of you guys are missing the point about Reggie's comment about the audio in Disaster. I think he was referring to the B-grade writing and acting (and story from what I've read), not the musical compositions or sound effects. Reggie is still a fantastic NOA president. Silly to dismiss the man because he doesn't think highly of Disaster. Granted, he should be saying more positive things of the products produced by his company, but he's allowed his opinion. At this point, we should be expectant of Reggie to speak his mind.

You clearly haven't ever even watched an EBA video--it's not a casual game by any stretch, unless you count Guitar Hero, DDR, or Rock Band 'casual' (as if that's supposed to be some kind of insult).

I still believe it will get released in America. Here in the Netherlands it is being advertised on TV.

Still wouldn't put EBA as casual though. That shit is hardcore on all difficulties. Well, I've only played Ouendan, but from what I understand EBA is the same thing but with different songs.

Reggie is extremely stupid. He's doing a stupid decision with that. He'll encourage people to get the homebrew channel.

Hardcore Nintendo fans have been furious since the underwhelming E3 and he kept saying that an hardcore game was coming for Christmas (Animal Crossing). Now, there's really such a game and he refuses to publish it...

That's the problem with NoA... They never listen to their fans. Nintendo fans are those that saved the company during the Gamecube days. Still, we haven't got Mother 3 or Disaster. People are now obliged to use an emulator to play mother 3. We're forced to pirate their game in order to play them... It doesn't make sense.
