I know what I talk about I have a Wii 360 and PS3 at home and I only use PS3.
Buy PS3, have fresh mind, quality console, look Blu-Ray movie, and have fun.

gets ps3

Resistance owns!!!!!111 one!

360 is white.

PS3 lacks white SKU.

Therefore Xbox 360 is better.

Tease.

360 has tons of timed exclusives it takes about 6-12 months for it to port to PS3 due to development issues.

and PS3's online is still bad. free is good but no in-game chat, voice messages(only text),join session in progress, and if you live in america(which you probably do) buy the 360 because chances are your friends have it. about 90 of my friends do.

MS Always tries for DLC Exclusives and Timed Exclusives. and Netflix is good.

PS3 is a very good system but Sonys Home wont cut it.... its more of a 2nd life.. gamers dont want that....

Minor things, the PS2 is $130 (plenty of places you can get it even cheaper), and if you add $40 for the component cable for the PS3, add it for the 360, seeing as how the guy you quoted used the Arcade which also doesn't include an HDMI cable.

I decided to go Xbox 360, last gen I had a game cube.

Being on a budget I went for the arcade model

  • XBOX 360 $199.00 (best buy)
  • 20gb Hd    $20.00 (ms)
  • 100' of network cable $10.00 (newegg)
  • play and charge $18.00  (newegg)
  • HDMI cable $5.00  (amazon)
  • Cd wallet  $8.00 ( circuit city)
  • 1 year of live $35.00  (ebay)

  • total spent: $295

Games I own

  • Halo
  • Halo2
  • Halo3
  • Orange Box
  • COD2
  • COD4
  • GRAW
  • GRAW2
  • BIAHH
  • Pure
  • Grid
  • PGR3
  • Tetris
  • Lego Starwars
  • Lego Indian jones
  • Ninja Gaiden
  • GTA IV
  • Flatout
  • Forza 2
  • fable
  • fable2
  • burnout 2
  • burnout paradise city
  • far cry
  • far cry 2

Also got the HD DVD drive for $15.00 (kmart)

I play on a 32" Vizo 720p/1080i tv

Hello World

Tecmo you have attracted a lot of fanboys in this thread.

But I can see that libellule has a good argument go with what he says.

If You want you can go with my suggestion:

Buy I a PC thats what I did, its awesome and I am having heaps of fun. Then I got me a PS3 because I love soccer, racing and LBP (Good to be played with friends, a girlfriend or in my case a fiance)

But the PC is my major platform for hardcore games like Crysis, Far cry 2, Bioshock and any FPS in the market except for some like Mirrors Edge which I would probably get on the PS3.

PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

You know what - get a PC... that way you won't have to argue about which console is better anymore...

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
