Firstly these are Vgchartz numbers not NPD

Secondly Fable 2 will be a hit only in USA not europe/Japan

Thirdly , It is not an AAA --89% at metacritic

Please dont post weird assumptions every time

You will have to wait for NPD for US sales

For Europe sales Fable 2 wont even reach 200k 1st week




This'll be my last quote like this. I just thought it ironic how quickly people change their tune when it's about a game they care about, instead of an exclusive they hate. Again, the game had less reviews than R2 currently has, and this was before the official numbers marked it at 1m. The poster then continued to say sales were directly related to metacritic numbers, and thus Fable 2 was bound to flop in europe.

but I dunno it just feels "wrong" not to use a gun after seeing all previews n videos with guns bein used. But Melee is VERY effective most of the times...

I keep longing for a sword....lol

It was somewhat repetitive.  You just got used to some of the more unique enemies pretty quickly, so they weren't as surprising later on in the game. 

They still threw new stuff at you throughout the game though (those kamikaze guys near the end 0_o), and the giant battles are fun as hell.

You have to figure, most games generally throw just a handful of enemies at you.  R2's enemy types are pretty varied compared to all the WWII or modern FPSes out there.  Though they got rid of the Rollers (adult Leapers) and those guys that jump from wall to wall from the first game.  :(

You guys stop updating this? 8/10 from videogamer, knocked it down lower on meta, ouch.

I woulda never thought this game would hit 88 percent a month ago, thought it was destined for 93+.

You can't argue with Resistance 2's robust feature set. But the once-relatable, ragtag protagonist Nathan Hale has been transformed into a generic square-jawed action hero, the kind who's been the subject of satire since 1991's Duke Nukem. Clearly Nathan isn't just battling the Chimeran virus; he's also suffering from a severe case of John McClane-itis.



Since when does metacritic track The Onion?

Variety is still the lowest review.

I'm about 5 hours in now, and I must say I'm enjoying the campaign. Critics are definitly being overly harsh. Probably because of all the competition coming out campaignwise.
