Forums - Sony Discussion - Sony has FFXIII targetting Japan, GT5 targetting Euro. What about US???

And you believe that?

Japan has WKC as well, that should sell some hardware.

But yeah, like everyone's said, America loves shooters.

God of War, while being an awesome game, got less than awesome sales on the PS2. But then so did the MGS series and look what MGS4 did.

ok. we've been over this a million times and the fact is nobody knows what part (if any) of that trailer was in-game or not. So your guess of late 2009 is just as good as his guess of March. Either way, considering the PS3 already has Warhawk, SOCOM and R2 (and will have KZ2) for massive-scale online shooters by whenever it comes out, I don't think MAG will sell too many consoles.

Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it

People can buy both. Don't think that the PS3 can't convert 360 owners into PS3 owners and vice versa. But just remember if someone owns a PS3 they had the choice to own either console and went with a PS3 over the 360. While you can't say the same thing for 360 owners because maybe they couldn't afford a PS3 or the PS3 wasn't out yet, but the longing for one was still there.

I had the choice to own either console. I took the PS3 over the 360 because I didn't want to have to deal with RRoD (and thought its future lineup looked better).

If I could only pick one console right now, it would be the 360. (edit: Only talking about HD, Wii is my fav)

i also bought the ps3 first... then the wii... and i just got the 360.

i'd say 90% of my time is still spent on the ps3. this might change once i unwrap fable 2... but i'm enjoying lbp at the moment.

maybe Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm will be the surprise/upset console mover... haha.

KZ2 and R2. After playing KZ2 single player at TGS, I can say it will not be a disappointment at all.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
