Anyway, Nintendo may not be my friend, but having a Wii is certainly a good way to gain friends :P

And there're plenty of reasons why I'm happy when Ninty does well.

More money for Nintendo means they can employ more dev teams, and make risky but good games

More hardware sales of the Wii means that the console I own will get more 3rd party games per year, more cheap games, and be supported for longer.

I also hope that there is industry growth - it's nice to see previously non gaming friends buying consoles

They are all best friends with money, even if they don't act like it.
