Forums - Nintendo - SEGA publishes The Conduit

So, now that it is official that SEGA will publish The Conduit, what do you guys think?

I for one think it is a great redeeming opportunity for SEGA. This plus MadWorld will be standouts next year, so SEGA is on a roll.

Let's just hope The Conduit turns out to be all that we are dreaming it will. With Wii Motion Plus and Wii Speak confirmed for the game, it has tremendous potential.

The Conduit FTW!

Well that was unexpected but that's cool. That means that the game will had a decent distribution and promoting.

I hope the game turns out be good (I am not a big fan of FPS)

It's good for SEGA and good for The Conduit. I thought for sure it was going to be published by Nintendo but SEGA definitely seems like a great choice.

I also thought Nintendo was going to publish it.

But, thinking it better, that would have mean almost no publicity. I think SEGA will make great advertising.

As a Wii owner, I'm extremely optimistic about Sega's performance in 2009. With MadWorld, The Conduit, House of the Dead: Overkill, and Sonic & the Black Knight coming out next year... it's never been a better time to root for good ol' Sega.

Go Sega go!

I think Sega has realized that someone is buying RE4. A whole lot of someones. Likely those same someones are hungry for more mature games like it and Sega is looking to capitalize on that oppurtunity.

Good for them, cause I'm one of those someones. I'll definately be getting all three: HoTD: Overkill, Madworld and The Conduit.

Yeah man

Yes! Hope it gets the hype it needs, even dare i say an undeserved hype. Whether we like it or not that's how games get gr8 sales

As I said in the other thread it's an unexpected but not so surprising announcement. With Sega's game selling loads on the Wii it's really not that surprising that they'd jump on the opportunity to pick up a potential huge seller. And they wouldn't have picked it up if they aren't going to market it as such. So it's a win for all of us. It's unexpected though because no one thought it was going to be a "Japanese" developer to pick it up. Even though its America we were thinking the American and European companies because that's who makes these kind of games but Sega is pretty americanized.

So I think this is good for the property.

Good for Sega
