According to data from the Gallup Poll, Obama would win the election by a landslide...if the rest of the world could vote. McCain's strongest region is Southeast Asia, and he would win four nations in the entire world: Laos, the Philippines, Cambodia, and Georgia. Obama's strongest regions are Africa and Europe (Western and Northern). Obama would win...well, I did not feel like counting all of the nations he would win.

It just goes to show how badly the Bush administration has damaged world opinion of the U.S. Hopefully (and I'm confident he will) Obama will win and begin to repair this.

 I would have thought it was higher too considering the way the media is here, it seems very one-sided. But considering only 15% went McCain it does show the huge difference, a quarter just didn't know.

at my school, there was a vote and think the results had Obama at around 85-90%, but my school is certainly not representative of the UK

Considering how much of the rest of the world is socialist, that doesn't surprise me. Obama is very much a socialist.

In a Swedish political discourse I would call him a right wing liberal. He is far more right than any of the parties represented in the swedish parliament.

^ A lot of europe is super liberal. Things such as abortion and religion are just not that much of a issue than in the states.
