Wow, I just watched the whole trailer. I as expecting a lot, and they completely delivered and then some. I really like how much better the combat looks, since it was a little dated in MGS3 (I still loved the game though). This game looks truly incredible. The AI seemed a little dumb, but that can be changed with the difficulty or maybe it was just nerfed for demo purposes. The AI was fairly smart in MGS3, so I doubt we have much to worry about.

I think it was just the difficulty. Unless he was hitting those guys with the chest with the tranq gun, I think it's just very easy and easy where you can knock an enemy out instantly by hitting an enemy in any spot.

Nevermind

Holy freaking Buddhazilla. This is the first next-gen footage which really, really stunned me with true next-gen game-play, instead of just next-gen visuals. Got the grenades working, full motion control, behind-the-back sighting system, FPS-on-demand... wow.

I mean, you could take any single segment of that clip and it would be a full-fledged, polished videogame in its own right: a stealth game, a sniping game, a camo game, an FPS, a pilot-the-robot game... but it all fits seamlessly. Those textures keep getting better and better... The motion-cap is especially impressive - ducking, dodging, rolling straight from the Devil May Cry playbook.

Spring 2008 can't come too soon.

Really amazing. The battle zone stuff was just great. I especially like the over-the-shoulder aiming (being able to move while aiming was something the series really needed).

The only thing that looked kind of awkward and out of place was how he had to go through a bunch of menus to use the statue camouflage. Isn't the octo-camo supposed to take care of that kind of thing automatically? Maybe it was just because he had to put on a special mask/face paint for that part? I was a little worried, but it looked like the rest of the time the octo-camo was activated with the touch of a button.

If this doesn't sell systems I will seriously lose what little faith I have in humanity as is lol

Isn't this the truth.  If Sony's idiot-PR, pricing debacles ruins the sales this one...  god help us all.

WOW... Is the only word I can think of this game. I agree CKMLB I would buy multiple copies of this game if the sells are low
