Amazing online play, I started playing a 1:00 AM and stopped around 6:00 AM because my body was complaining about sleep, such a fun, intense, crazy game definitely going to be a day one buy for me.

Yeah, all indication points to this game being insanely awesome. I'm in college but my brother is playing the beta at home because I got a beta key. He pretty much said what the OP said. I need to play a 30 vs. 30 match, crap flying everywhere. It will be glorious.

I played like barely 3 minutes of single player at Gaming Invasion 08 in Toronto.
I can't really comment on the game as a whole, but from what little of I played, it was pretty fun.

well i guess resistance 2 is the only game you've ever played :p

Just played 8 player Co-op. It was pretty fun and intense. The thing is filled with chimeras. They take a long time to kill. I make a good medic.

Eeh, just what I expected, average. I actually think the first one had better multiplayer.

The problem is that people are just like 1 blob, they don't have distinct weak spots or anything. Headshots are non existant. Basically, the person that starts shooting first will get the kill. I think if you shot someone in the leg 5 times it would be the same as the head. There is no feeling when shooting people either, no sense that you are actually hiting them, it's like shooting nerf balls.

Game modes are average, nothing unique or particularly entertaining.

I haven't met one person who wasn't so damn annoying on the mic, I have muted every person that talked.

I also don't like how you choose any weapon on respawn, I prefered the start with the same gun then kill someone or find a better one, but it's not a big deal.

They should have a better sidebar for who killed who, it's really small and goes away when you die. A healthbar would be okay to the person you died to.

Game can be pretty fun though, I'll probably keep playing it.

The 8 player Co-op makes my pants wet. It is that good.

I liked the first one better tbh, but the COD WaW beta is much more fun. Love the first Resistance, never was a really big fan of mp in Resistance, but i really really loved the single player. And im pretty sure Ill have the same opinion of R2 aswell. really looking forward to the single player. For MP, I have a lot of other games.

Its still impossible to tear myself away from the beta. When Im not playing it Im thingking about playing it. Im going to the gym tonite and Im gonna have that game on my mind till I get back.

I will buy the CE as soon as possible. Replaying R1, Ratchet TOD, Ratchet QFB, in preparation of this game after the Beta.

My friend tells me that the COD WAW Beta is great as well but Im not sure if I can handle more than one shooter this year.
