I'm goin to my friends house this weekend.  He has a ps3, can any of u guys recommend me some local multi games?

Resistance.

COD4 has competitive
Resistance has co-op
Soulcalibur IV has competitive
Army of Two has co-op (but it's not very good)
Vegas and Vegas 2 have competitive and co-op (again not very good)
Most sports games.

There aren't very many, are there?

edit: oh yeah, and it pwns the hell outta mario kart

& i tried Army of Two co-op last time i went to his house, ur right, it sucked.

WipeEout HD, you can do tournements and single races as 2 player. But you have to downlaod that.

EDIT: As Munkeh says below but if you want cheap, just go for PES08.
