Different time, different characters, the same universe.
I think one game is 3000 or so years before the other, don't remember which is before and which is after

I have seen LOADS of screenshots.....but I must say FF13 actual looks far more interesting in every way.
looks great and will most likely be amazing. But just another reason again why you fools should all never take videos of a game shown right away that they are not gonna look like that when you get the game whenever it comes out.
i wonder how long it will take for people to udnerstand that

FF 13 has the superior team working on it....FACT!
I like both, but FFV13 looks to have the more badass character and story line out of the two but i like both.
