My Wii has been gather dust also... I own 4 of them though... It's kind of hard to keep them all from gathering dust.

::shrug:: Sell it then. Give it to someone who will use and enjoy it. I have several friends that still want to get a Wii.

the answer is REALLY simple, you haven't played a lot of big ones and a lot of not so big ones.....i'm too bored to make a list now (way too long)

if you don't know what to do with it, the bin is a very simple solution!!

btw, why the f*** should we care if your Wii is gethering dust?? just clean it!

If your wii is gathering dust, I recommend finding an "escort service". If you get too out of practice, your stamina will be poor too. If not, then at least shower more often. There is no reason for your wii to be gathering dust. That's just not hygenic.

I find the 'My Wii (or other system) is gathering dust' stories kind of funny because how different the individual's life must be from mine ...

I (generally) have a lot of time to search the web because (at work) I have a lot of down time from database imports/exports, code compiling, or waiting for processes to run to verify that they're working. In my personal life I really don't have much free time to play games when you factor in working out, dating, cooking, cleaning, and (pretty much) everything else related to being an adult who lives by themself. I constantly see great games released for all consoles that I simply don't have the time or energy to release so I never (really) feel like there are too few games available for me to play.

I'm certain people can list dozens of enjoyable Wii games that have been released this year, if you have tried them all and still find that the Wii is not being used enough I think you're getting good use out of it, and if you haven't tried many of them you may need to consider opening your mind to different ideas.

Sell it. If that's what you want to hear, SELL IT.

If you find yourself complaining to something you bought you do not care for, then you do not need us to tell you what you want done w/ it.

You seem/sound to be a hardcore gamer and Nintendo obviously does not seem to cater to hardcores (Not yet, anyway... Hell, maybe never)
Then an Xbox360 and/or a PS3 is for you.

You are obviously familiar w/ sites like VG Chartz, then you are aware of the games currently on Wii and upcoming titles.
It seems to me you are not convinced any of these games will persuade you otherwise towards your feeling towards it, then you know what to do.

The same goes to anybody who will create a thread like these to all other consoles or anything at all.
I'm sure somebody somewhere will benefit from it once you sell it to some place like Game Stop.

Not all of us play our consoles constantly, forever.
That even goes towards anything. May it be a new PC, TV, Cellphone... anything.
Frankly, I do not know how anybody can spend so much hours on anything these days (what w/ work and all, etc...)

My consoles are always gathering dust also... except over power and eject buttons, besides controllers. I suggest you to clean it
