For Famitsu DS phat and lite are different but PSP-1000 and 2000 are the same?
This is interesting. Compared to VGChartz data, this means that the original DS only sold ~ 500K after the DS lite was released. This may mean that DSi could destroy the PsP totally, as it seems that Japan only allows 1 handheld/console of each type. Of course, PsP could also destroy DSi, but that's far less likely.

If they count the ds lite and phat as one then it would be higher than the ps2.

They are obviously biased against Nintendo and do not want to see the DS at the top.
