I actually have Golden Axe BR and its actually quite good. Its a tough game that rewards mastery with immense satisfaction. Very oldschool. With that said I totally agree with PLAY magazine's review (though a 9 is a bit high, an 8 would be sufficient, though I suspect that they were trying to make a statement) and their article bashing reviewers who hate hard games. .

And yes I'm well aware of the score given to SNG. But when a man is right, what happened before does not matter, he's still right.
Also why do you fail to mention Sega Europe? Condemned, Viking, and the Club?
