Yeah, you are wrong.  The gap between Wii and 360/PS3 is far greater than Wii to PS2, much less the GC.  Again, the Wii is about as powerful as the first Xbox. 

Funny how so many Sony fanboys get irritated by baseless rumors of MGS4 going 360, yet have no trouble whasoever believing the PS3 will cut its price by $200-300 by this Christmas.

If PS3 sales continue as they have, maybe a little accelerated for the price drop/fire sale, it should be between 5-6 million by the time we hit November. I'm not sure it can sell more than 2-3 million during the holidays, though.

The 360, if it has a price drop (and it damn well should), I can see at 11-12 million before the holidays, and selling another 3-4 during, since it should have plenty of supplies and $100-200 on the PS3.

The Wii will only be contrained by supply. I have to assume there is some stockpiling by stores and by Nintendo, but how much is anyone's guess. At current rates, it should add another 3 million by November, getting it to 11 million (more than that if supplies allow, partly due to the release of Mario Galaxy). If there is no supply boost, it'll just add 2 million during November/December, but if supply lines open up, I could see up to 5 million added on.

 Yep, it's much closer to the Super Nintendo/Neo Geo or PS1/3D0 gap. That was a very big one, and you couldn't port games from 3D0 to PS1 etc.

hahahaah... that's a good one. Are they going to make RE5 run off the RE4 engine??? In that case MSG4 and Final Fantasy 13 will be on the Wii also. Please show me the source to that interview or comment on RE5. I doubt the Wii can handle any AAA ports from the PS3 or xbox360. Maybe a RE5 spin-off though.

Anyways, I'm not a fanboy by any means. I own all systems except for a wii and i will probably pick one up when zelda gets released. But your first post clearly shows that you do not know enough of what you are talking about. The PS3 has more than 2 anticipated games this year, and LAIR isn't even one of them. Also, the point that you are not counting any multiplatform games is just ignorance. You talk as if noone is going to get a PS3 for Assassins creed, GTA4, or anyother big titles. Now don't get me wrong, i'm not saying the PS3 will outsell the wii or 360 this year. But my main point is that you do not know enough about Sony's lineup to start making reasonable predictions or validations to your point. I'm not really sure whether you are a fanboy or just  ignorant (or both), but you should atleast give better reasons so people will actually take your post seriously.

I was only talking graphics, Windbane, since that was what you were talking about. I guess you don't like the comparison to the 3D0 and the Neo Geo? Let's repeat:

Me: "Yes, I agree. The graphical gap is much closer to the gap between the Neo Geo/SNES or the PS1/3D0."

Windbane: "The PS3 has sold more than either of those!"

How is that relevant? Clearly you're just irked that the PS3 has similarities to the 3D0 and Neo Geo. It does: in fact, not only are all graphical leaps, but they all retailed originally for 600 dollars. I absolutely agree that there are differences between these systems (no two systems are ever exactly alike, after all), but you don't need to get annoyed any time someone makes a comparison.
