Every gen I give a clean slate to any console makers. I got an N64 first, and then a PS1, I got the Xbox, and the 360 before I got my PS2 and PS3. To me it is really about who can give me the best value the fastest. This gen MS had the console out with some great games, and the PS2 was a little shallow so I got the 360 to sustain my gaming desires. As the 360 started showing signs of less exclusives I got a PS3.

As most people here know, I would have to say now to this point PS3 has been the best value to me. Next gen it will be a matter of who has more faster, and how well PS3/360 can bridge the gap. Maybe Nintendo will win me first or it could be MS or Sony. I any cae I know that as long as Sony is making consoles I will get one at some point in the generation. Even if it is only for Gran Tursimo a PS will always be under my TV.

I'm getting the Dreamcast 2 of course, it'll destroy everything.

ps4 I think that's going to be the best. The ps3 right now is so powerful, it's full potential might not be reached this gen. I have yet to here of any game that can do so. Even killzone 2 only uses 4.5 processors of ps3's 8. It has taken killzone 2 almost four years to make. They will probably come out with a new feature that is new and innovative besides being the most technologically advanced. I have read that the ps4 might not be that big of a jump in terms of processing power and graphics from ps3. And they've come out with something new and innovative each system. The psone was the first system to use cds. The ps2 was the first system to use dvds. The psp was one of the first handeld to device to have it's own disc format. It was also one of the first portable videoplayers and still has one of the best handheld screens. The ps3 introduced blu-ray and has technology built into it far beyond any of the competition.

As a 360/PS3 owner (Wii is obsolete for me), I'm looking forward the next XBOX first, then the next Playstation.

1- Microsoft (perfectly understands american gamers, and delivers!)
2- Sony (pushing the hardware, good for the evolution)
3- Nintendo (I don't like the recent Nintendo approach. Wii = Powerglove2. Do not want.)
