Of cours it sucks, you dont have to be a genius to know that, bad arcade games, no hdd, no chrome (looks horrible). I really belive than everybody thinks the same wey (or almost everybody). Xbox arcade is for people than ONLY want to play games (without download anything).

The context in which the statement was made, was that the price cuts have not allowed XBOX360 sales to rise above PS3 sales, which it has.

Really all you are doing is saying that IGN hates games and game consoles. Which isnt true. Its called being objective and also maybe a little bit controversial to bring in traffic. Not the end of the world

Oh, and the Arcade SKU does suck. its the reason MS is now offering 20 dollar hard drives to Arcade owners or free 512 meg memory units. I would say this time next year the Arcade will be gone and Developers will be allowed to make their games using the HDD. It was a dumb idea the moment they announced it, and Im glad they are finally letting it go.

Don't u see the bolded terms. PS3 isn't consistently beating 360 and hell who would have thought it would lose to 360 for 5 weeks and counting in Japan. Not consistent coming from SONY. And its actually quite surprising its outselling according to this site as it is crappy and not worth it according to IGN.

If PS3 did a pricecut right now and dropped it $50-$100.00. (which they won't... 100% sure of it) you think you can use cheap price as a number 1 selling excuse? PS3 is the most expensive console on the market YET it still beat the 360 half of this year. This is truly sad... especially when you think a cheaper console would be selling more (which Wii is doing but not 360 until now)

Consistently.... we can use this as "PS3 consistently sold more units from November 11th, 2007 to July 20, 2008 worldwide"  about 37 weeks> 5 weeks of sales. Unless 360 can do 32 more weeks of WW sales beating the PS3 every week, then I see no reason to talk about how its price is making it sell cause it won't last forever. I am guessing this is 360's last week winning in a row... total of 6 weeks.

I think you are maybe right if LBP and Resistance 2 bring in the numbers that Sony is hoping for. The fact that the 360 now has consoles on the market that are 200+ dollars less then a PS3 and only outsold the PS3 WW by 26,000 units is telling. Very very telling.

At first I was thinking that Sony might just be forced into dropping price before Holidays with those first couple weeks of the 360 price cut, but I dont think so anymore.

But this is all way off topic.
